Bamboo reaches harvest maturity in just three years, and unlike trees, bamboo does not need to be replanted after it is harvested as the bamboo will continue to grow.
Large, traditional toilet paper companies source their softest toilet paper from old-growth forests. These forests are essential for preserving ancient eco-systems and storing enormous amounts of carbon. Switching to bamboo keeps these forests in-tact!

"The original cloud paper is incredible - love the packaging, color story, paper quality and density. I will say that I was accidentally sent the new “softer” paper and it was terrible - had a pattern that was very scratchy and far less sheets per roll. I am glad they exchanged without any concern and that the original paper is still available."
